Alhamdulillah, the Muslim community in the New Tampa area has been growing and flourishing and the need to help our children preserve their Deen and Islamic values has never been greater. Catering to this need, the Islamic Society of New Tampa (ISONET) has established a Sunday Islamic school with the objective of instilling and preserving Islamic values, principles, and practices in our children through the teachings of Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
The ISONET Sunday School will serve children who are not enrolled in a full-time Islamic school from grades 1 to 12.
What We Teach
We will be teaching basic Arabic to read the Quran and will also explain the meaning of what is recited. Additionally, students will learn Islamic creed, the tenants of Islam, the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet SAW, respect, manners, and much more.
Operating Schedule
The school academic year for 2026-2027 will start on Sunday, September 20th, 2026 and ends Sunday May 16th, 2027 InshaAllah. Classes will be offered every Sunday starting 3 hours prior to Dhuhr Salah (11am to 2pm/10am to 1pm). There will be scheduled holidays that are detailed in the school calendar.
Please note: Duhr salah is part of the curriculum and we encourage parents to pray at the masjid prior to pick up. Duhr salah is at 2pm until November, when it will change to 1pm with daylight savings. Sunday school timings will also change to 10am-1pm from November onwards.
School will start on September 20th. Orientation is September 13th InshaAllah.

Enrollment Fees
Tuition is $600/academic year for the first child with 10% sibling discount for all additional children. There is a one-time $50 family enrollment fee applicable to new enrollments only.
Our policy is to not turn away any students due to financial hardship, please contact us if financial assistance is requested.
